Dennis Shanks Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dennis Shanks (Liberty, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 21, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Dennis may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwight Shanks and Lena Flood Shanks. He is survived by: his children, Erin Jeranek (Wade) of LaCrosse, WI, Meghan Kelling-Shanks of McFarland, WI and Dominic Shanks (Roxana) of Fairbanks, AK; his sister Connie Rehbaum (Larry) of Cedarburg, WI; and his grandchildren, Amelia, Eleanor, Isabella, Maxwell and Jacob.
