She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Ward and Nellie Austin Simmons; her husband Wayne H. Bliss; and her son Dr. James R. Bliss. She is survived by: her daughter Dr. Cheryl Bliss of Liberty, KY; and her granddaughter Aminah M. Bliss, MD of California. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
