With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ernie Lou Byrd of Liberty, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 11, 2025 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Sharp and Jessie Marie Cravens Sharp; her husband Wallace Wayne Byrd; and her brothers, Ronald E. Sharp and Randall C. Sharp.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Byrd of Liberty, Huell Byrd of Liberty and Betty Rodgers of Liberty; her grandchildren, Derik, Felicia, Jacob, Maranda, Louann, Brandi and Cierra; and her sisters-in-law, Donna Sharp of Liberty and Pauline Sharp of Moreland. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bartle Funeral Home Chapel (142 KY-49, Liberty, KY 42539). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
