Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved James Alvin Scott of Liberty, Kentucky, who passed away at the age of 84, on February 21, 2024. He was predeceased by : his parents, Johnnie E. Scott and Ruth L. Cochran Scott; and his brothers, Leonard, Greg, Jerry, Herman Wayne, Vernon, Larry and Bobby Scott.

He is survived by : his children, Tina Darlene Allen of Russell Springs, Johnny Lee Scott (Jill) of Liberty, Vicky Renee Barnett (Paul) of Waynesburg and Michael Brent Scott of Liberty; and his siblings, Lonnie Scott, Mary Ruth Alsup, Shirley Olsen and Eva Albright. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one great great grandchild.
