James Gregory Buis Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Gregory Buis (Liberty, Kentucky), who passed away on July 21, 2025 at the age of 71. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Gregory Buis to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathaniel A. Buis and Rose Buis (White); and his brother Michael Buis. He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Schamp (Steve) of Norfolk, NE; his stepsons, Jeremy Hilkemeier (Kami) of Omaha, NE and Justin Hilkemeier (Jennifer) of Atkinson, NE; his granddaughter Linda Sue Terry of Liberty; his friend Debbie Beard of Liberty; and his siblings-in-law, Jim, Deb Frederick of O'Neill, NE and Sheri Buis of Cynthiana. He is also survived by one niece; and four nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Greg's Home (139 Fair St, Liberty, KY 42539).
