He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Vaught and Edna Stafford Vaught; his wife Patricia Vaught; his son Larry Vaught (Susan); and his granddaughter Katherine Gerhardt.
He is survived by: his sons, Greg Vaught (Mary) of Spring Lake, NC and Terry Vaught (Tami) of Soldotna, Alaska; his grandchildren, Morgan, Debbra, Cassandra, Zackery and Kody; his great grandchildren, Alex, Lindsey, Aleja, Lauren, Elizabeth, Isabella, Carson, Kinlee, Eva, Harper and Juniper; his siblings, Randall Vaught of Liberty, Anna Dickerson of Liberty and Mary Sue Shoopman of Liberty; and his children, O. Box, Memphis and Shriners.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Brush Creek Cemetery.
