He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Mason and Evelyn Poff Mason; his children, Rebecca Lynn Mason and Larry Wayne Mason; and his siblings, John William Mason, J. C. Mason, Glen Mason, George Mason, Lewis Mason and Elaine Harris.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sarah Evelyn Vincent (Tracy) of Cincinnati and Tammy Jo of Indiana; his siblings, Dave Mason of Edinburgh, Indiana, Liz Jones of Liberty, Lorraine Hafley of Nicholasville and Linda League (Russell) of Liberty; and his grandchildren, Chloe Vincent, Mason Ash Vincent and Kaffia Jones.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McKinney-Brown Funeral Home (752 Campbellsville St, Liberty, KY 42539). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland in Memory of Larry Mason and may be mailed to 100 Parkway Drive, Somerset, KY 42503.
