She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Farris and Mae Foster Farris; her son Wayne "JW" Edwards; and her siblings, Deward, Morris Farris, Lillian Allen and Bernice Farris.

She is survived by: her children, Hilda Edwards Stafford of Liberty, Sharlene Gilley (Jimmy) of Liberty, Sharon Edwards of Brandonburg, KY, Ricky Edwards (Stella) of Liberty, Terrill Edwards (Patty) of Liberty and Willa Edwards of Liberty; and her sisters, Jewell Davis of Norwood, OH, Nelli Strong of San Leon, TX and Darlene Brown of Liberty. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the funeral home to help offset funeral expenses.
