With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lou Ellen Dean of Liberty, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 26, 2026 at the age of 69. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Wright and Bonnie Brown; her daughter Melvina Rose; and her siblings, Dolores Faye Johnson and Dewayne Wright.

She is survived by: her husband John Dean of Liberty; her stepchildren, Richard Dean of Liberty, William Dean of Liberty, Lisa Long (Tim) of Liberty and Michelle Allen (Roger) of Liberty; and her siblings, Ivadean Wright of Harrodsburg, Judy Silvers of Harrodsburg and David Brown (Kim) of Junction City. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
