She was predeceased by: her parents, Vitus Posey and Helen Elizabeth Wethington Posey; and her siblings, Freddy Posey, Winfrey Posey, Carroll Posey, Loeta Posey and Pauline Posey.
She is survived by: her husband William Carl Hicks; and her siblings, Frankie Posey (Wilma), Vernon Posey (Carla), Gary Posey (Connie), Betty Terry (Billy), Patty Higgs (Lin) and Alice McAleer (late Kevin). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
