She was predeceased by: her parents, Raueval Scott and Susie Chesser Scott; her son Jerry Edwards; and her sister Joann Taylor. She is survived by: her spouse Owens Rufus Edwards; her children, Cindy Morris of Crab Orchard, Ricky Edwards of Crab Orchard, Penny Savage of Somerset, Gina Hampton of Lexington, Junior Edwards of Liberty, Kevin Edwards of Harrodsburg and Twenty; and her sister Charlene Chesser of Springfield.
