He was predeceased by: his parents, Ransom Coleman and Myrtle Spears Coleman; his sons, Roy Lee Coleman and John Paul Coleman; and his siblings, George "Butch" Coleman, Coyle Coleman, Jim Coleman, Viola Sallee, Geraldine Woods, Sylvia Yates, Mae Raney and Shirley Rayborn.
He is survived by: his wife Janis "Jan" Bagley Coleman; his son Jeremy Coleman (Jessie) of Lyons, GA; his sisters, Pauline Wright (Ronald) of Liberty and Nancy Coleman of Yosemite; and his close friend Jimmy Greer. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home to assist the family in offsetting funeral expenses.
