He was predeceased by : his parents, Ben Sears and Rozella Sears (Hatfield); and his siblings, Delbert, Sherry and Debbie.

He is survived by : his former life partner Eula Sears; his siblings, Ronnie Sears and Sue Harper; his nieces and nephews, Joe Radford, Mary Johnson, Jimmy Littrell and Joey Littrell; and his close friend Rick Wesley.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Morris & Hislope Funeral Home (5900 US Hwy 27, Science Hill, KY 42553).
