He is survived by: his wife Clara Mae Shackles Clater; his daughter Candaline Clater; his stepdaughters, Donna Turner and Mary Elmore (Gabby Reyes); and his daughter-in-law Leigh Ann Clater. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
