It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wilma Charlene Mathews of Liberty, Kentucky, who passed away on March 11, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Curtis Lay and Hazel Brackett Lay; her husband Benny Beckham Mathews; her son Terry Benny Mathews; and her siblings, Phyllis Chadwell, Regina Taylor and Sheral Lay.

She is survived by : her daughter Melissa June Mathews of Liberty; and her sisters, Velma Martin of Liberty, Marcella Coffman of Liberty and Patricia Douglas of Perryville. She is also survived by four grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren.
