He was predeceased by: his wife Elsie Louise Davis Boggs; his parents, Robert Boggs and Mae Lewis Boggs; his son Allen Boggs; and his siblings, Bertha Boggs, Nadine Wells, Willie Boggs and Jerry Boggs.
He is survived by: his children, James Boggs of Corbin, KY, Mike Boggs (Tina) of Lily, KY, Sandi Hacker (Steve) of London, KY, Bryan Boggs (Peggy) of Corbin, KY, Hobert Boggs (Kathy) and Patrick Boggs of Lily, KY; and his siblings, Jim Boggs of Corbin, KY, Mike Boggs of Corbin, KY, John Boggs of Louisville, KY, Ernie Boggs of Mt. Vernon, KY, Robert Boggs of Corbin, KY and Shirl Boggs of Corbin, KY. He is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; plus a host of other family and friends.
