He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Grant and Lou Gertrude Fuson Hunter; his wife Bertha Brock Hunter; and his brothers, Bobby Hunter and Jimmy Hunter.
He is survived by: his sons, Terrence (Beth Hunter), Charles "Tiny" (Jennifer Hunter), Donald and Carroll Hunter; and his sister Marily Gail Fuson. He is also survived by five grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.
