He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilrie Pharris and Littie Evaline Embry Pharris; his children, Amanda Jo "Mandy" Pharris (Audrey) of Morgantown, KY and Jeremy Shane Pharris; and his siblings, Ronald, Garry, Gerald Pharris and Peggy Tucker.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Read Pharris of Little Bend, KY; his grandchildren, Emmett of Morgantown, KY, Phoebe of Morgantown, KY and Franklin Pharris of Morgantown, KY; and his siblings, Bro. Joe Pharris (Ava) of Morgantown, KY and Gloria Clark (Richard) of Morgantown, KY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Chapel (927 W G L Smith St, Morgantown, KY 42261). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
