He is survived by: his wife Estalene Lay Compton; his sons, Shane Compton (Amy) of Penny and Michael Compton (Sandy) of Little Creek; his siblings, Charles Franklin Compton (Bobbie) of Little Creek and Judith Ann Compton Adkins (John) of Poor Bottom; his grandchildren, Sadie Damron (Joshua), Ella Marie Compton, Audrey Compton, Michael Compton and Emily Thacker (D. J.); and his great grandchildren, Bradley Compton, Eva James Damron, Seriyah Thacker, Kiana Thacker and Shannon Thacker.
