He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lee and Catherine Fassnacht Monroe; his stepson Jeremy Russell; and his grandson Abram Monroe. He is survived by: his former wife Martha Lorene Frazier; his wife Lorene Monroe; his children, Aaron Monroe (Brittany) of Dundee and Sarah Monroe of Owensboro; his stepdaughter Deana Woosley (Tommy) of Calhoun; his grandchildren, Addison Quisenberry, Andrew Quisenberry, Brittany Sutherlin (Eric) and Tyler Gardner; his great grandchildren, Maverick Sutherlin and Mason Sutherlin; his siblings, Robbie Monroe of Beaver Dam, Connie Jordan (Bill) of Hartford and Shelley Hunt (Tim) of Hartford; and his friend Verna Halcomb of Beaver Dam.
