He is survived by: his grandchildren, James Hursey (Brooke), Ashley Hammons (Zach), Klyee Tremain, Danny King, Rachel King, Aaron Tremaine and Jonathon Hammons; his great grandchildren, Keelyn, Braydon, Sadie, Jameson, Allison, Baron, Lillie and Jareth; his sister Jane Oberley; his daughter-in-law Mary Beth King of Mason, Ohio.; his siblings-in-law, Wayne Gray and Bibi King; his caregiver Christina Davis; and his siblings, Pauline "Polly" Edwards, Welton "Bobby" King, Benton "Pete" King, Virginia "Ginny" Gray, Edward King, Janice Katherine Oberley, Mary Ellen Eppley and Billie Gene King.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and at 2:00 PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at the Bales Cemetery (26 Bales Cemetery Rd, Livingston, KY 40445).
