He was predeceased by: his mother Nannie Lee Howard Bays; his wife Georgia Kay Worthington Bays; and his son Lawrence Keith Bays Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Greg Bays (Monica) of Lloyd, Kentucky and Stephanie Mayo (Jared) of Greenup, Kentucky; his sisters, Jackie Miles (Joe) of Russell, Debbie Craft of Lloyd, Kentucky and Gail Owens (Roger) of Lloyd, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Antonio Bays, Diego Bays, Avia Bays, Jair Jackson, Maddie Mayo, Liam Mayo, Max Mayo and Tyler Bays; and his great grandchild Arissa Shumate. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends.
