Linda leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Linda’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Linda will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Clifford and Vergie Jane George Meadows Sr.. She is survived by: her husband John Clinton Broughton; her daughters, Johnnie Jo Harris (John Akers) of Bellefonte, KY and Bobbie Jo Floyd (Josh) of Greenup; her grandchildren, Cristin Pennington (Michael Preston), Charlie Floyd and Stevie Floyd; her great grandchild Eloise Preston; and her siblings, Johnny Meadows of South Shore, KY, Wendell Meadows (Gracie) of Greenup, KY and Geraldine Morris (Bill) of Raceland, KY. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Wright's Funeral Home (1017 E Main St, Greenup, KY 41144). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
