He was predeceased by: his parents, Ora Leo and Cora Myrtle Stewart Tackett; and his brother Glenn Allen Tackett. He is survived by: his wife Juanita Adkins Tackett; his children, Stephen Shon Tackett (Michelle) of Lloyd and Kimberly Michelle Miller (John) of Lloyd; his grandchildren, Elijah Shon Tackett (Kayla), Stephen Craig Tackett (Breelyn), Maggie Rian Miller, Marlie Grace Miller and Luke Thomas Miller; and his great grandchildren, Gracie Jane Tackett, Jake Curtis Tackett and Stephen Cade Tackett.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Wright's Funeral Home (1017 E Main St, Greenup, KY 41144). A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
