He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Buckley Hurst; his sons, William "Buddy" Hurst of Lloyd, Kentucky and Steven Hurst (Jennifer) of Lloyd, Kentucky; his siblings, Kenny Hurst of Lloyd, Kentucky, Wayne Hurst of Lloyd, Kentucky, Brenda Kay Truitt of Lloyd, Ina Chapman of Lloyd, Opal Hurst of Lloyd and Rebecca Baker (Jimmy) of Greenup, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Micheal Hurst, Corey Hurst, Wyatt Rhoden, Abbey McBrayer, Alycen Hurst and Tyler Hurst (Litisha); and his great grandchildren, Lilith and Levi Hurst. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
