He is survived by: his wife Connie Lynn Allen Abdon; his children, Chris Abdon (Helen) of Prairie Grove, Greg Abdon (Winnie) of Load, Todd Abdon of Fort Worth, Texas, Dana McCleese of York and Kelly McCarty of Flagler Beach, Florida; his siblings, Marshall Abdon (Teresa) of Lloyd, Kentucky and Connie Mabry of Columbus, Ohio; his grandchildren, Caedon Snider, Dagan Abdon and Anna Howard (Brandon); and his great grandchildren, Thomas Howard and Ella Grace Howard. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
