She was predeceased by: her mother Mamie Sizemore; her husband James David Brown; her daughter Dana Skeens; her great grandchildren, Blake Howard and Kasen Caskey of Load; and her siblings, Clifford Grubb (Joyce) of Lynn, KY, Jerry Hicks of Greenup, June Tackett (Russ) of Flatwoods and Sandra Maiden (Eddie) of Flatwoods.

She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Howard (Donald) of Load, Carla Skeens (Danny) of Load, Angela "Jug" Howard (Greg) of Load and Anthony Brown (Carla) of South Shore; her grandchildren, Jamey Bush (Sarah), Jessica Howard, Jonathan Howard (Cassy), Cassie McGinnis (Tim), Jordan Skeens, Lauren Caskey (Austin), Amanda Sprinkle (Danny), Allen Howard (Jericca), Shannon Wireman (Rebecca), Tyler Skeens (Lexi) and Noah Brown; her great grandchildren, Uriah Bush, Rachel Bush, Abby Howard, Jase Howard, Jaxon Howard, Angelrae Bates, Charlee McGinnis, Westynn Caskey, River Sprinkle, Braydon Osborne, Jaylyn Hicks, Jenna Howard, Amber Wireman, Ariel Wireman, Vivian Skeens, Remington Skeens and Ivy Skeens; her granddaughter-in-law Haley Tackett; and her sister-in-law Nyoka Hicks. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wright's Funeral Home (1017 E Main St, Greenup, KY 41144). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
