It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Dale (Jones) Snider (Lockport, Kentucky), who passed away on April 18, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In bidding Joan Dale adieu, let us not mourn the silence that now fills the spaces Joan Dale once occupied, but rather celebrate the vibrant colors she painted upon the canvas of our lives. For while she may have departed from this earthly realm, her spirit remains a beacon of light, guiding us through the darkest of nights.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Jones and Laura Leslie Jones (Mahoney); her husband James Edward Snider; and her sister Pat Smith. She is survived by : her sons, James Anthony Snider of Waddy, KY, Timothy Scott Snider (Melissa) of Lockport, KY and Stewart Wade Snider (Cathy) of Lockport, KY; and her siblings, Pam Hopewell of Lawrenceburg, KY and Bobby Jones of Campbellsburg, KY. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Lockport Baptist Church (128 Six Mile Crk Rd, Lockport, KY 40036).
