He is survived by: his wife Joyce Allen; his children, Miller, Ricky Allen (Tammy), Virgil Allen, Jr. and Leigh Ann Brown; and his sister Dorothy Hundley. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
