He was predeceased by: his parents, Quentin Creech Ellison and Maggie Ellen Messer Ellison; his wife Selena Katherine Mobley Ellison; and his siblings, Ronald Keith Ellison, Ruth Ann Morgan, Homer Neil Ellison and Carl Randall Ellison.

He is survived by: his children, Tracy Ellison of Corbin and Bernard Quentin; his siblings, Linda Howard of London, Kentucky., Jamie Ellison of London, Kentucky. and Libby Campbell (George) of London, Kentucky.; and his grandchildren, Jacob Wren, Caleb Wren, Amber Carter (Nathan), Kaety Ellison, Bodie Ellison and Teagan Ellison. He is also survived by extended family members and dear friends.
