She was predeceased by : her parents, France Archer and Julia Pemberton Archer; her husband Willis "Snuffy" Smith; and her siblings, Sherman Archer (Jean), Roy Archer (Wilma) and Thelma Brown (Warren).

She is survived by : her children, Tony Smith (Elissa) of London, Kentucky, Dr. Linda Floyd (Joe) of London, Kentucky, Brenda Lawson (Tom) of London, Kentucky and Beschell Smith-Horan (Ernie) of Bellingham, Washington; her grandchildren, Hope Bales (Stephen), Christie Smith, Ashley Garland (Mike), Tony Willis (Dawn), Charity Gilbert (Adam), Tenielle Faulkner (Wes) and Lindsay Jones (Landon); her sister Mary Lou Stewart (Ken) of Texas; and her sister-in-law Velma Jean Archer of Rockholds, Kentucky. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the First Christian Church (303 N Main St, London, KY 40741). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
