He is survived by: his mother Freddie Sue Cottongim Parsley of London; his children, Ariel Thornberry (Eric) of Floyd County and Amber Champlin of London; his siblings, Barkley Parsley (Pam) of London and Patricia Parsley Miller (Jonathan) of Lexington, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Aiden, Aubrey, Arianna and Alison; his niece Jessica (Sam); his nephew Josh; his great-nephew Hudson; and his close friend Gina Gibson.
