He was predeceased by: his mother Marjorie Rice (Cassidy). He is survived by: his father Eddie Joe Rice of Somerset; his children, Whitney Nicole Fitzsimons (Nicholas) of Knoxville and Jeremy Logan Rice (Emily) of Bowling Green, Kentucky; his siblings, Beth Rice of Keavy, Susan Christina Bradley (Kendall) of Knoxville and Lorrie Leigh Williams (Allen) of Corbin, Kentucky.; and his grandchildren, Luke Patrick Fitzsimons, Charlotte Ray Fitzsimons, Elaine Cassidy Fitzsimons and Poppy Kate Rice.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the London Funeral Home (879 S Main St, London, KY 40741). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
