He is survived by: his wife Bertha Henson Mathis of London, Kentucky.; his children, Sabrina Roberts of London, Charlotte Barrett (Mart) of Richmond, Kentucky, David Mathis (Donna) of Richmond, Kentucky, Terry Mathis (Karen) of Indiana, Timothy Mathis (Sandra) of Clay County and Danny Mathis of London; and his siblings, Susan Allen of Manchester, Kentucky, Abraham Mathis of Allenton, Michigan, Pearl Mathis of Allenton, Michigan and Sally Casey of Dillsboro, Indiana. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
