We announce the death of Cleo Marie Sturgill Hail (London, Kentucky), who passed away on August 31, 2026, at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Charles Killion and Fay Killion (Sanders); her husband Ron Hail; her son Denny; her daughter-in-law Virginia Sturgill (Turner); her grandchildren, Allen Huffman and Mahalla Sturgill; her siblings, Ed, Palmer, Chris, Alvin (Little), Alfred (Big), Donnie Killion, Dorothy Douglas and Naomi Brock; and her brother-in-law David Douglas.
She is survived by: her children, Darlene Riley (Amos) of Corbin, Bobby Sturgill (Rita Dunsford) of Corbin, Sandra Wyenandt (Brian) of Corbin, Donna Jones (Harold) of Corbin and Sandy Lewis of Indiana; her brothers, Willard Killion of South Carolina and Charles Killion (Bug) of Kentucky; her sister-in-law Phyllis Killion of Virginia; and her niece Lisa Weaver (John) of Virginia. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, three great great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the London Funeral Home (879 S Main St, London, KY 40741).
