We are sad to announce that on October 20, 2025, at the age of 54, David Gene Byrd of London, Kentucky, born in Covington, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, David is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that David's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ewell Scott and Ida Mae Byrd House of London; and his stepfather Robert House. He is survived by: his children, Tori Byrd of London, David Byrd of London and Zachary Thomas of London; and his siblings, Sharlietta House of London, Robert House of London and Monyonia Scott of Louisville, Kentucky.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bowling Funeral Home (1704 N Main St, London, KY 40741). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to Bowling Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
