He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Albert Tyree and Nannie Sutton Tyree; his wife Ima Jean Grimes Tyree; his children, Linda Sue Tyree, James David Tyree and Robert Donald Tyree; and his siblings, Ovie Tyree, Nola Yancey, Verda Doepel, Gladys Yates, Mabel Joseph, Louise Jervis, Jay J. Tyree, Donald L. Tyree and Vernon Tyree.
He is survived by: his sons, Willard Tyree (Chrystal) of London and Danny Tyree (Tammy) of London. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.
