He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert York Sr. and Gracie Mae Young York; and his siblings, Diane Frazier, Velma Smith, Albert York Jr. (Chief), Alberta Sue York, Ida Jean York, Betty Geraldine York and Larry York.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Proffitt York; his children, Lindsey York of London, KY, Joe Smith (Crissy) of East Bernstadt, KY, Chris York of Gray, KY, Gary Bruner (Dorthy) of Barbourville, KY and Eric York of Gray, KY; his grandchildren, Jacob Johnson, Austin York, Landen York, Tyson York, Lincoln York, Jasmine Jackson, Jaylen Smith, Brodie Smith, Layla Norman, Trevor York and Chris York Jr.; his great grandchild Serenity York; and his sister-in-law Kay Hubbard. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
