It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James L. Simmerman of London, Kentucky, born in Wenatchee, Washington, who passed away on May 5, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Simmerman and Katherine Schwindt; his wife Virginia Marie Schremm Simmerman; his brothers, Donnie and Arthur Simmerman; and his nephew Brian Lanier.
He is survived by: his sons, Jimmy, Tony and Benny Simmerman; his brother Ed Simmerman (Rhonda) of London; his nieces and nephews, Susie Mullins, Melissa Simmerman, Amanda Simmerman, Ed Simmerman, Elton Simmerman, Eric Simmerman and Shane Simmerman; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Addison Mullins, Colt Mullins, Owen Simmerman, Avery Simmerman and Kami Giroux.
