He was predeceased by: his parents, Boone Vernon and Olla Lewis. He is survived by: his daughter Denise Lewis (Gregory) of Fort Lauderdale; his grandchildren, Lindsey Lewis (Jordan Ratliff) of Lancaster and Kasey Lewis of Richmond; his great grandchild Adalee Ratliff of Lancaster, Kentucky.; his children, Joy Kellum of Florida and James Lewis Jr. (Beau) of Alabama; his grandchildren, Jason Kellum of Florida, Kenneth Kellum of Florida, David Kellum (Christine) of Florida and Nicole Kellum of Florida; and his great grandchildren, Kevin, Jack, Owen, Luna, Claire and Mason.
