He is survived by: his wife Joyce Heringer; his daughters, Cynthia Shannon (Fred), Vicky Caddell (Gary), Stephanie Dunn (Matt) and Kellie Ray; his stepsons, Charles Partin (Joan), Bobby Partin (Joann) and Thomas Partin; his son Walter Korte; and his brother Alfred Heringer. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
