She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Mills and Georgia Abner Mills; her children, Melissa Ann Walters and Jonathan Nicholson; her sisters, Barbara Gail Powell and Juanita Shell; her grandson Steven Cobb; and her siblings-in-law, Cathy Vickers, Floyd Vickers, Johnny Nicholson and Cliff "Mutt" Powell.
She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Nicholson; her children, Melinda Scott (Shawn) of London, KY, Jason Nicholson (Christina) of London, KY and Eric Nicholson (Sherry) of Corbin, KY; her siblings, Patricia Adams (Dewayne) of London, KY and Michael Mills of Corbin, KY; her grandchildren, Brittany Walters, Brianna Walters, Chloe Nicholson, Jaylyne Nicholson, Michah Nicholson, Shawn Cobb, Ashley Nicholson, Hadlee Nicholson and Halie Gibson; her great grandchildren, Elazia Oldham, Keegan Nicholson, Adalynn Cobb, Emerson Cobb, Cayden Nicholson and Colin Scott; her son-in-law Chuck Walters; her siblings-in-law, Bobby Nicholson, Johnny Shell and Julie Nicholson; and her close friend Genople Robinson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the House-Rawlings Funeral Home (510 E 4th St, London, KY 40741). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
