He is survived by: his wife Karen Fouts Proffitt of London, Kentucky.; his sons, Curtis Marshall of Erlanger, Kentucky, Eric Marshall of Danville, Kentucky and Marc Marshall of Walton, Kentucky; and his sister Bridgette Blanton of East Bernstadt, Kentucky.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to Bowling Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
