It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvia Karen Haggard Vaughn of London, Kentucky, who passed away on April 1, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Melvin Haggard and Glenna Haggard; and her sister Rebecca Haggard. She is survived by : her aunt Florence Smith of Fairfield, OH; her sisters, Regina Murray (Jim) of Louisville, Rhonda Helton (Larry) of London and Lana Partin (Herb) of Corbin; her children, Stephanie Pry (Chris) of Madison, AL, Amy Dishman (Simon) of London, KY, Melvin Dewayne Haggard (Keresia) of London, KY, Tony Haggard (Milea) of London, KY and Nikki McGinnis (Chris) of London, KY; her grandchildren, Phillip Pry, Jenna Pry, Seth Pry, Emalee Pry, Brandi Lewis, Khambry Coffey, Ethan Dishman, Huyanna Parsons, Brooklyn Parman, Landon Turner, Leland Turner, Blu Carpenter, Karma Curry, Macie McGinnis, Angelina McGinnis and Walker Haggard; and her close friend Teresa Smith. She is also survived by Fourteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home (607 Master St, Corbin, KY 40701).
