Peggy Amburgey Pratt Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Amburgey Pratt of London, Kentucky, who passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Amburgey and Arminta Amburgey; her husband Dr. William Devaughn Pratt (Bill); her siblings, Covie Amburgey, Geraldine Hopkins, Andrea Darnley, Wanda Amburgey, Matilda Amburgey, Ruby Amburgey, Ruth Epperson and Carl Amburgey; and her pet Tilly.
She is survived by: her children, Michael D. Pratt of London, Mark D. Pratt (Heather Ponder) of London and Elizabeth Pratt Bernardi (Brian) of Louisville; her grandchildren, Daisy Browning (Hayden), William Brooks Pratt, Emma Pratt and Laurel Wallace; her stepgrandchildren, Robert Bernardi and Natalie Bernardi; her nieces, Diane Shelton, Benji Collins and Nancy Angelos; Nicolas Ponder.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the House-Rawlings Funeral Home (510 E 4th St, London, KY 40741). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (123 Keavy Rd, London, KY 40744).
Donations can be made in her honor to the Hindman Settlement School or the First Presbyterian Church of London Food Bank.
