He is survived by: his wife Helen Burkhart Hammons; his children, Timothy Ray Hammons (Kristine) of Berea, Tamara Hammons McFadden (Jimmy) of London, Kentucky and Twyla Susan Hammons of London, Kentucky; his grandson Jared Chesnut (Vanessa) of Maryville; his stepgrandsons, J. B. McFadden (Brandi) and Joseph McFadden; and his great grandchildren, Madeleine Chesnut, Amelia Chesnut, Kailiana McFadden and Araylia McFadden. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
