He is survived by: his children, Lisa Stone (Creston) of Bowling Green and Jamie Powell of Corbin, Kentucky; his siblings, Woodrow Powell (Jeanette) of Lily, Kentucky, Ronnie Powell (Carolyn) of Lily, Kentucky, Gary Powell (Jane) of Lily, Kentucky and Cathy Hillard of Lily, Kentucky; and his close friend Vickie Brummett. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
