He is survived by: his wife Linda Sue Puckett Root; his sons, Ronnie Root Jr. (Nikki) of London, KY, Tony Root of London, KY and Michael Root (Courtney) of London, KY; his siblings, Judy Brown (David) of Indianapolis, IN, Betty Lykins of London, KY, Debra Smith of London, KY, Linda Cowden (Rick) of London, KY, Billy Root of London, KY, Terry Root (Ann) of Corbin, KY and Jimmy Root of Indiana; his grandchildren, Jesse Root, Katie Root, Josh Root, Brittany Yaden, Anna Root, Audrey Root and Amelia Root; his great grandchildren, Mahayla Root, Easton Root and Korbynn Root; and his close friends, Harry and Evelyn Ormsby. He is also survived by other family and friends, and many car friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the House-Rawlings Funeral Home (510 E 4th St, London, KY 40741). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Dale's Funeral Service (510 E 4th St, London, KY 40741).
