He is survived by: his wife Sue Ann Settles Nelson; his children, Terry Nelson (William) of Berea, Hannah Nelson of East Bernstadt, Sherman Nelson of East Bernstadt, Josh Nelson (Shanda) of London, Kelsey Nelson (Skylar) of Mount Vernon and Chris Roberts (Amy) of Harlan, Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Ryan Robinson, Lennon Hines, Ava Nelson, Alaina Nelson, Riley Hines and Addilyn Roberts.
