He was predeceased by: his wife Wilma Louise Bowling Nicholson; his parents, John Nicholson and Thenia Owens Nicholson; his son Donald Keith Nicholson; and his siblings, Jess Nicholson, Velna Gilbert, Donald Nicholson, Joyce Humfleet, Monte Gene Nicholson (Ram), Michael Nicholson (Jake) and Pearl Nicholson.
He is survived by: his children, Joe Nicholson (Vickie) of London, KY and Jennifer Nicholson (Chris) of London, KY; his grandchildren, Keith Nicholson (Kellie), Adam Tyler Nicholson, Kash Nicholson, Walt Woods and Rhett Woods; and his great grandchildren, Mary Kate Nicholson, Josie Nicholson and Gracie Escabado.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the House Rawlings Funeral Home (510 E 4th St, London, KY 40741). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
